“What strikes me most is the tranquility, despite its nearness to the town and beach. The gardens, originally designed by Gertrude Jekyll, offer a peaceful retreat, and the indoor pool provides year-round relaxation. It seems a particularly good choice for families or anyone seeking a restful coastal break with a touch of history.”

Good Stay Near the Sea
sea front beautiful garden on site parking
The hotel is located close to town and the sea front. Gardens are beautiful. On site parking was an added bonus. The staff was very friendly.
I think the charge for dogs was expensive. I don't know where this money goes. The dogs do not get anything for breakfast unless you ask.

The hotel has a lovely garden space with lots of sitting areas. There is a garden gate. This gate comes out near the sea, allowing a short walk along the prom to the Heritage railway. I enjoyed the swim.
